About InwovenZboza

Pioneering Environmental Conservation in Romania Since 2018

Our Story

InwovenZboza was founded in 2018 by a group of passionate environmental scientists and conservationists who recognized the urgent need to protect Romania's extraordinary natural heritage. What began as a small research initiative in the Carpathian Mountains has evolved into one of Romania's most respected environmental organizations.

Our journey started when Dr. Mircea Radescu, a wildlife biologist, and Elena Popovici, an environmental engineer, discovered alarming changes in local ecosystems during their field research. They realized that traditional conservation approaches weren't sufficient to address the complex environmental challenges facing Romania's diverse landscapes.

Since our founding, we have conducted over 150 research projects, protected more than 50,000 hectares of natural habitat, and educated thousands of community members about sustainable environmental practices. Our innovative approach combines cutting-edge scientific research with community engagement and policy advocacy.
